  • 577 children are elected by their classmates to represent their district. Children are about 10 years old.

The day of the Children's Parliamentary session, all the 577 elected children MP meet together at the Parliament. During the morning, they discuss three law proposals, amont those selected by the national jury. Debates are chaired and moderated by real adult MPs. During the afternoon, the Children's Parliament meets in a public session. The President of the National Assembly and the Minister of Education answers to the children's questions. The three children MPs representing the three selected law proposals argue their texts in a five-minute speech. The 577 children MPS vote.

The Children's Parliament meets once a year. The event is organized by the National Assembly and the Ministry of Education. It is held at the National Parliament.

Later, the law proposal selected and voted by the Children's Parliament is supported by the real MP of the district. Proposals of Children's Parliaments of 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2005 became real laws of the Republic. They concern the orphans rights, the rights of the child in the world, child abuse, pollution.
